Honoraria for Scientific Review Committee for Emerging Research Grants

Honoraria for Scientific Review Committee for Emerging Research Grants: $5,000

Since 1958, Hearing Health Foundation has been the largest private funder of new and innovative lines of hearing and balance research through the Emerging Research Grants program. In 2012, we received over 60 applications from scientists new to the field who were eager to obtain their first research grants.

In order to review the scientific merit, clinical applications, strengths and weaknesses, and applicability to the Emerging Research Grants program, Hearing Health Foundation convenes a Scientific Review Committee (SRC). The SRC is comprised of senior-level scientists with expertise in various fields of hearing and balance science. The SRC is charged with reviewing all received applications, scoring them, and providing critiques that are shared with applicants in order for them to strengthen future grant applications.

Your contribution would allow Hearing Health Foundation the ability to thank these senior scientists for their contribution to the integrity our long-standing grants program.
